If you fancy bland sushi on top of dry cold yorkshire pudding then this is the place to go!

Seriously though, I was very unimpressed. Most of the bowls of food are clearly only reheated on site--I suspect they are shipped in plastic tubs and reheated on site. The allusion to authentic cooking is provided by a few austere looking guys who take 5mins+ to serve a single scallop (your allowance) or pretend to be tending some barbeque ribs on a skewer. This is NOT cooking and if you choose to go there you should expect this. Most of the food tastes like cheap processed supermarket ready meals but you are seduced in to beleiving it is quality by the faux-sophisticated decor (the all black uniforms echo tesco's finest range!).

My whole time there I felt like I was party to some kind of fraud....Its definitely based on the the idea that customers will believe anything you can eat must be value for money and nice decor looks sophisticated. The overall result is that you will over-eat on cheap food with the burden of choice mixed with curiosity providing you will have less than a harmonious platter--Its expensive slop served to the masses and exploits their greed and ignorance......

Spend £15 instead at a non-chain (family) restaurant where they are proud of their skills, heritage and food and where you can enjoy a calmer more bespoke environment----afte all, do you really need that third plate of 3rd rate madras?

Heard friends rave about this place for ages but never fancied it... Until tonight and what a little gem. Choices are fantastic, something for everyone, price is fab too. Only down side is the short dining time. I am old school and like to sit down and have a chat.

Kids just loved it and will def be going back!

Was very dissapointed with the food at Cosmos. The food was horrible and of a very low quality. Hardly any of the dishes were labelled either. I am allergic to seafood so was not impressed when I found shrimps in the meat buns (one of the few items which was actually labelled) In the Japanese section, I asked the man serving if there was any food that did not contain fish or seafood and he replied 'squid'!!! None of the desserts were labelled either. Am amazed that a restaurant in the UK does not have to label food items and dishes especially as there are people with allergies. None of the food apart from the steak had much taste and the ingredients used in the dishes were cheap (ie the pasta had no taste to it) Also with the onion rings all you could taste was the batter.

I spoke to a manager and also the general manager about this but they did not try to rectify the problem at all and were dismissive. All they seem to care about is providing low quality food and getting as much money as they can. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and the customer service is non existant.

Have eaten at other buffet restaurants like Jimmy Spices before which is cheaper but 100% better and the food is very high quality.
