Strada

I have only been to Strada once but the impression it left put me off that restaurant straight away! Never again!

I don't mind paying for the good food, when it's actually good and comes in good quantities, but this is not the case with this restaurant. My mum, myself and my boyfriend have ordered a 'seafood soup-type-of-dish' as we love seafood and what we received looked like leftovers of seafood soup. The fish that was mentioned in the description of the main was missing and I've never seen such tiny mussels in my life. All in all, we would be left hungry if it wasn't for the bred that we ordered. We had to dip that bred into the soup as the little amount of seafood didn't satisfy us. And I have to point out we are normal looking people, slim and healthy.

To top this off, the fish of the day (which looked like a decent sized fish), which was ordered by my father was raw inside. It was not cooked properly!

And it doesn't end there, my brother (it was his birthday we were celebrating with this unfortunate trip) has ordered a steak which was cut into pieces and came with a salad. He had to finish off my soup with the bread to be satisfied. What the hell is this!!! I've never left the restaurant feeling hungry and for the price they were charging we received awful food!

Plus, Strada thought that it'd be clever to take 15% of our total bill for the tips and include this in our final bill! Since when does the restaurant decide how much tips I need to give them. It entirely depends on the service, atmosthere and the food we are given!

Absolutely awful experience and a waste of money! Don't go!
