La Dolce Vita

Despite the poor service, the lack of seafood in the seafood starters, the lack of meat in the lasagne and the tough and tasteless pizzas our party of six had a good night last Saturday. I think none of us could believe the treament metred out to me when I had the audacity to mention my misgivings. The Italian proprietor told me that I knew nothing about Italian food and that all her other customers were satisfied. My guess is they were all too afraid to speak having seen me hung out to dry.

We paid and left and would not return for a free meal it was that bad.
