Estikutum

a group of 5 went to estikutum on a saturday evening in feb 2010. we chose this restaurant because we had been told by several people that there was a great selection of thai chinese and indian.
upon arrival we were greeted at the door by a very friendly member of staff , we were quickly seated and drinks were brought to the table shortly after ordering them. we then got up to go to the buffet , i have to admit that we said to each other shall we go? it was all indian except for thai spring rolls, sweet n sour chicken and egg fried rice plus cold chips.now there was 2 of the group that dont like indian at all. and more or less all they eat for £11.50 was the cold chips because the little bit of chinese there was wernt up to scratch. the indian that the remaining three ate was fine but there wasnt that much choice , it would have been fine if it had been the £9.50 as advertised on website but i felt like we were conned. the freshly made nan bread was astounding though, cooked in front of you to order. i would also say that i was a little hesitant about leaving my car, however the car park was quite secure.overall the food was ok , atmosphere ok , location not v good. adveritising as mixed cuisine is misleading should stick to indian.

Ive been a couple of times now and since it has changed hands - I like the clean and basic decor - I think the food is good but think they should concentrate on Indian food only - not much choice in thai or chinese. They are slow in bringing drinks and on 3 occasions I asked for another drink and was left waiting to the point we were leaving when they brought it.
