Greenhead House Restaurant

The Greenhead is a FIRST CLASS restaurant and well worth a visit, if you can get a reservation (always difficult at popular times, always worth a try). I'm very surprised that no one else has posted anything.

Not far off the M1 if you are travelling to it -and well worth the effort to get there. This is the sort of establishment which is worth a special journey for a special occasion. Not the cheapest place to eat, but compared to other places with a similar style, good value).

Very pleasant atmosphere. Always well prepared seasonal food in the French style without the pretention of some 'nouvelle cusine' establishments.

Give the Grenhead a try: next time I'm there I'll try to post a fuller review!
